Autumn

Have you noticed the change in seasons? Autumnal colours are everywhere, walked past Kettering Library and the virginia creeper was such a wonderful shade of red it got me thinking about colours and what could I knit……….

Hot water bottle covers in all the shades of Autumn, crochet and knit and of course with Halloween fast approaching a bright orange pumpkin seemed the order of the day, you need to go see the website for piccys coming real soon. Plus the patterns for the hot water bottles will be available once they get written up!

So thinking about the change in seasons, the windows are due for a re-vamp and plans are afoot, warm and snuggly being the theme. So come and see them if you get the chance.

Drop-in clinic

Hello wooly friends, just a little note to let you know about our upcoming event.

Its a Knitting and Crochet Drop-in Clinic on Saturday and Sunday the 1st and 2nd November 2014.

Just drop in and we will have some knitty experts on hand to offer friendly help and advice for those annoying projects that you are struggling with, or just a general wooly chat.

This is a free event, but we are asking for donations which will be given to the Lakelands Hospice, a much needed Hospice in the local area.

We would like to raise as many pennies as we can for them so please come along and support a good cause.

Keep an eye out for reminders on Facebook as we will update regularly.

Please contact us for further details or information via email at thelaughingewe@hotmail.co.uk
